Dozens of residents from the Gaza Strip arrived this evening (Thursday) to dine at the Crimson Wine Bar, in Kibbutz Nir Am, despite the security tensions in the area and the curfew on the residents of the Strip leaving the settlements.
"We will continue to live," they announced at the event.
Ofer Lieberman, the owner of the Argaman wine bar, said that people come to the place despite the tensions, which have been going on for the third day.
"People go out to relieve tension, drink wine and enjoy good music. We will continue to live and enjoy," he said.
"If we were closed inside the house, then the situation would be better?", asked Edi Plonsky, who came from the neighboring kibbutz Or Haner.
"We support the policy of the security forces. Now that they have started to explain to us what is happening, we are more accepting of the difficulties and economic losses."
"We will continue to live."
